NJ HAMBURG — Hamburg water board approves payment plan for delinquent account. The Board of Public Works recommended allowing the resident at 59 Route 23 to pay $150 monthly, starting June 20, 2026, to address a $742.94 delinquency, with the payment plan forwarded to town council for approval. Engineer Paul Ferraro presented details on a state grant opportunity worth up to $500,000 for water line replacement, with a required 20 percent municipality match bringing the total project cost to $625,000.
Water Operator John Perry reported 25 galvanized lines are being replaced, while DPW Supervisor Alec Yanish completed water treatment certification, and the water billing office began e-billing services.
