NJ HAMBURG — Hamburg council approves part-time hiring of Recreation Commission Secretary. The Mayor and Council of Hamburg, with six of seven members present, unanimously approved Resolution 2026-50 to hire Rebecca Westra for the part-time position of Recreation Commission Secretary during a May 18 workshop meeting. Councilmember Oehler moved for the hiring, and Councilmember Burd seconded.
The council also entered executive session to discuss Police Department personnel matters.
