NJ HAMBURG — Hamburg Board of Public Works schedules August water shutoffs and standardizes payment procedures. Water Collector Jennifer Valerius reported that a property owner under a newly established payment plan signed a contract and made payment, receiving a $100 service restoration fee. Late notices will be mailed July 16, 2026, with shutoffs scheduled for the first week of August, coordinated with DPW Supervisor Alec Yanish.
Borough Engineer Paul Ferriero presented grant funding information for water main and line replacements; the board requested cost details and will await survey responses from 28 properties to determine replacement needs.
