NJ HAMBURG — Hamburg Mayor and Council unanimously approved the hiring of Rebecca Westra as Recreation Commission Secretary during a May 18 workshop meeting. The brief session, attended by Mayor Krasnomowitz and five council members, opened and closed its public comment period with no remarks from residents. Councilmember Oehler moved the Westra appointment, seconded by Councilmember Burd.
The council also called executive session to discuss Police Department personnel matters.
