NJ HAMBURG — Hamburg's Board of Public Works voted to recommend updated water and sewer application fees to the mayor and council for approval. The new schedule sets residential fees at $100 for water and $125 for sewer, with commercial rates at $200 and $250 respectively. CFO Joseph Brezina recommended the updates, and board members discussed adding language to the ordinance to address potential water theft from the municipality.

Council Liaison John Haig suggested establishing a fee or fine structure for such theft, and Brezina will review the documents with Mr. Clemack to incorporate the new language.
